Village Prayer Circle

4.00 pm on First Thursday of the month
              in Church House

This group, composed of Anglicans
and Methodists, meets to pray for
people who are ill or have problems,
also our C of E primary school, local
businesses and organizations.

It is a friendly, informal group and all
information is confidential.  We are
always pleased to welcome new members.

Please feel free to contact:
           John Claydon 01782 570220
if you have a loved one or a special concern you would like us to
pray for.

Coffee Get-together

2.30 to 3.30 pm on every Tuesday.

Coffee (or tea) and biscuits and look at the bible readings for the precious Sunday, and talk about what it might mean to us.

Food Bank

Along with many other churches, we are concerned about the welfare of needy families and have set up a food bank.  As well as dried and tinned items, there are requests for UHT milk and fruit juices with a good shelf-life.  We take all items to a more central church where they will be distributed through a system of vouchers set up by the Social Services.

Please make a contribution when the church is open.  The box is in the porch as you enter.  Otherwise ring John Lovatt on 01782 503090 to make an arrangement, either for him to collect from your house or for you to bring your gift to Lower Stonehouse Farm.  Why not ask your friends or neighbours to contribute something?
